White Cloud Mountain Minnows are cute little fish. Kept in the optimal conditions, they colour up quite nicely. They are active and quite curious. Mine often come up to the front panel and hover whenever I come near the tank.
White Cloud Mountain minnows are considered good fish for beginners, as they are extremely forgiving with regard to aquarium temperature or water quality, and make an ideal "starter fish" for cycling a new aquarium.

I started out with 6 of these beautiful small fish. I lost the last 4 the other day unfortunately.
This fish is a surprisingly aggressive little fin nipper, it should only be housed with fast swimming and robust fish, fish like Zebra Danios, White Cloud Mountain Minnows or Rosy Reds should be able to tough it out with them.
The Golden White Cloud is a striking color variation of the White Cloud Mountain Minnow. This variety displays a beautiful gold body with red markings toward the tail and on each side of the head.
