Some wrasse and parrotfish species (saltwater) will scratch or bang their heads against a piece of coral occasionally. If it only happens occasionally, this is normal.
This wrasse can be on the difficult side to feed. They are poor shippers and need a period of adjustment with lots of feeding per day at first. Great looking fish once acclimated.

I was very new to keeping marine ornamentals at that time, having only maintained a pair of Solomon Island percula anemone fish (Amphiprion percula) and a six line wrasse (Pseudocheilinus hexataenia) for approximately eight months.
The ocellated wrasse makes a pass in front of Sphaerechinus granularis, the Salaria pavo (Big Daddy) is sitting in front of its cave, the crab is eating algae from the glass (right) while the anemones are just looking for small food particles.

(Choerodon fasciata) is a beautiful large wrasse with a mild temperament. It is very colourful at all stages of growth and will accept most marine fare very greedily.
The False Cleaner Wrasse ( Plagiotremus sp.) swims actively in the tank. It advertises itself as a cleaner, but nips a piece of fin off the unsuspecting fish that is expecting to be cleaned ! ...
In the wild, many of the danios, barbs, tetras, tangs and wrasses are found in groups of dozens, hundreds or even thousands.

Cleaner shrimps and wrasses will remove the parasites, but may not keep up with a major infestation. Cryptocaryon is often referred to as the marine equivalent of the freshwater white spot disease, Ichthyophthirius, or Ick.
Tank Mates/Community:
These can be kept with species of similar temperaments and sizes, but not of the same colors as they will probably fight. Suitable tank mates can include Wrasse, Tangs, Hawkfish and Triggers.
My favorite is the harlequin tusk fish which is actually a type of wrasse and it is a stunning orange and white and blue stripes. They are however extremely sensitive and sometimes pretty difficult to keep.
