Yoyo loaches will eat a variety of foods, and should be fed accordingly. They will eat flakes, pellets, frozen brine shrimp, and freeze-dried tubifex worms.

I recently got 2 of these little guys from a local pet shop.
The animal inhabitants are 2 full-grown discus, 2 farlowella (twig) catfish, 1 yoyo loach (Botia lohachata, to keep the snails in check), 15 Rasbora heteromorpha and a healthy population of Malaysian burrowing snails.
An alternative loach is the YoYo Loach or the Clown Loach (another beautiful fish). Either of these should do a good job of depleting the snail population in your tank.
