Aggregates
Aggregates can be coarse or fine. This is determined by whether the material passes through a sieve of a specified aperture size or whether the sieve retains them.

 


Aggregate: Pebbles, shingle, gravel etc. used in the manufacture of concrete, and in the construction of "soakaways".
Airbrick: Perforated brick used for ventilation, especially to floor voids (beneath timber floors) and roof spaces.

Aggregate
- material such as sand or small stones mixed with a binder (usually cement) to produce mortars and concrete.

Aggregate - broken stone, gravel or sand used with cement to form concrete. Aggregates may be coarse or fine and are often used in the construction of "soakaways".
