A drawing technique devised to represent three dimensional objects on flat paper. Verticals are drawn to scale, but diagonal dimensions are distorted.

Axonometric
- a method of drawing in which vertical lines are drawn to scale off of an accurate plan which has usually been turned through 45 degrees. Very useful for revealing the construction and the interiors of buildings.
