Bullseye window - small oval window, set horizontally.
Buttress - vertical member projecting from a wall to stabilize it or to resist the lateral thrust of an arch, roof, or vault.

 


bullseye - a small round decorative piece with a smaller circle inside of it resembling an eye.
chevron - a zigzag molding (like an upside down V) in Norman architecture, Romanesque.

Bullseye window - small oval window, set horizontally.
Bressummer - (literally "breast- beam") - large, horizontal beam supporting the wall above, especially in a jettied building.

Bullion or Bullseye
- the centre knob of a table of crown glass where the pontil was attached. Originally recycled or used at the rear of buildings, their use for decoration is a comparatively recent trend.
