Catenary curve - Curve in the shape of a chain hanging freely from two points. Chain-link wire mesh - Open weave fabric formed of fine gauge wire strands, twisted at their junctions as a diamond pattern.
Like much of Gaudí's work, the Agbar Tower is based on the catenary curve - a parabola shape formed by a hanging chain.
