Subcontractor - A subcontractor is a specialist company employed by the general contractor or project manager to perform specialty trade work as needed.

Contractor
- someone who contracts to undertake work. Can be an individual, small firm or large organisation. The term implies the posession of a number of skills and the ability to manage a project.
