Feretory
The area around the main shrine. Generally located behind the high altar. From feretum, Latin for bier or shrine.
Gable
The vertical, triangular-shaped end of a roof.

feretory A chapel containing the shrine for a saint's relics. Flamboyant The late Gothic style in France, characterized by long wavy tracery designs.
