Fillet
- a thin, flat band, running between mouldings, the purpose of which is to both separate and define them.

Fillet : Delicate adornment strips applied to shafts and archways along the moldings.
Finial : An ornamental capping piece placed atop spires.
Fluting : Carved vertical groove work found on Piers, Columns and Pillars.

Fillet - a thin, horizontal band in a straight profile, usually found on a cornice, architrave, or entablature, for decoration.
Foliate Capital - a capital decorated with foliage elements.
Frieze - an elongated carved architectural decoration.

Fillet - A fillet is a narrow flat member; the term is especially applied to a flat moulding separating other mouldings and also the space between two flutings in a shaft.

Finial - A slender piece of stone used to decorate the tops of the merlons, spire, tower, balustrade, etc.
Fluting - Concave mouldings in parallel.

An astragal is molding profile composed of a half round surface surrounded by two flat plains (fillets). An astragal is sometimes referred to as a miniature torus.

Fretwork: Ornamental woodwork cut to represent small interlacing fillets or trellis work.
