Labyrinth - A symbolic maze which for our purposes applies to the intricate symmetrical diagrams found on Cathedral floors.

Labyrinth: Intricate combination of paths and passageways, often located in the nave of a cathedral, marked by floor tiles sometimes engraved with the names of the cathedral architects.
