Sacristy - A room in a church for sacred vessels and vestments.

Sacristy - a separate room for storing sacred vessels.
Sanctuary - the high altar is placed. The holiest part of the church.

Sacristy. Room attached to a church for the storage of sacred vessels and vestments. Usually also a robing room for the clergy.

SACRISTY A strong room usually attached to the north side of the chancel where vestments and the utendils belonging to the altars were placed. It is synonymous with vestry.

Sacristy : The secure storing chamber for holy relics and sacred vestments.

SACRISTY: a room attached to a church, in which the Communion vessels are kept. SADDLEBACK ROOF: a tower roof formed of an ordinary roof gable.

In 1520, Michelangelo began the New Sacristy at San Lorenzo as a funerary chapel for members of the ruling Medici family.
