Sally-port - A postern gate or passage underground from the inner to the outer works of a fortification.
Sally-port mycenae
Saḷmonica - Spanish term for solomonic column, much used in Spanish Baroque architecture.

 


Sally-port - Small heavily fortified side door from which the defenders can rush out, strike, and retire.
Scaffolding - The temporary wooden frame work built next to a wall to support both workers and materials.
