Sarking Felt used as an underlining to a roof.
Sash The frame of a window that holds the glass.
Screed Final smooth finish of a solid floor; usually cement or concrete.

Sage - (Scottish) a rectangular metal bar with a spike at right angles at each end, which can be hammered into sarking boards. Used by slaters to dress slates while on a roof. Also referred to as an "edge" or "top edge".

Sarking Felt - felt or other lining laid across rafters of a pitched roof to provide a secondary means of defence against water penetration.
Screed - final, smooth finish of a solid floor; usually cement, concrete or asphalt.
