Wall Walk: the area along the tops of the walls from which soldiers could defend the castle

Wall walk: (1) A walk way along the top of an enbankment of a rampart. Also known as a bailey walk. (2) A walk way situated behind a parapet. See bailey walk.

Allure - also known as the wall walk, it is the path running behind the parapet at the top of a wall or tower.
