Bootstrap for Simple Linear Regression

Another usage of Bootstrap is to estimate the property of the estimator of regression model’s parameter. There are at least 2 ways to do Bootstrap regression.

The simplest form of regression is simple linear regression that just contains one predictor and a prediction.

In general, whenever the simple linear regression model does not appear to adequately represent the relationships between variables, then the nonlinear regression model approach is appropriate.
