Artificial Intelligence Vision sensorVoice recognition

It wasn't until I started reading about the initial stages of visual processing in the brain that I began to make any real progress.

One might get a reduction in visual processing of to-be-ignored stimuli if subjects simply closed their eyes or focused on a different part of the display, and this need not reflect true top-down suppression.

So, my work in Lucy is starting to suggest that the first stage in visual processing is actually also the primary motor thing - it's actually designed to do something rather than just extract information.
