One might think from some of the arguments in the press that the present generation is unique in witnessing a great opposition between scientists and astrology, but the almanacs show this not to be the case.
Almanac: A book or table containing a calendar of days, weeks and months, to which are added astronomical or other data. Its use dates back at least to the Alexandrian Greeks.

The word Ephemeris is Latin and comes originally from the Greek word "ephémeros, -on," meaning daily. Ephemeris is an almanac of the daily motions of the planets and stars.
