Astrology AphorismApparent motion

Apogee
- from the Greek apo 'far from' + gaia 'earth', the point in a planet's orbit when it is furthest from the Earth.

Apogee: the point or time when Moon is furthest from the Earth.
Aquarian Age: one of the twelve great ages, each lasting 2160 years, brought about by the precession of the equinoxes; properly known as the Aquarius-Leo Age; ...

Apogee: The point in a planet's orbit that is most distant from Earth.
Apollon: The fifth symbolic planet used in Uranian astrology.

Apogee: v. Orbit.
Apparent Motion: In describing motions it is traditional to speak of them in terms of what they appear to be rather than what they are.

Perigee/Apogee. These are the points when the Moon, due to its non-circular orbit, is closest and furthest (respectively) to the Earth.

Apogee: the point in its orbit where an object is furthest from the Earth (opposite of perigee).

Applying: aspects that become closer or more exact with time; stronger than a separating aspect.

See Apogee. PeregrineWhen a planet is void of essential dignities. This is a debility, so serious in the mind of Lilly that he described it as "malicious beyond expression".

he Dark Moon has also been defined as the apogee of the Moon's orbit, or that point in the orbit farthest from the Earth. Both these points, the apogee and the second focal point, lie on the long axis of the orbital ellipse, the line of apsides.

When the lunar motion is less than 13°11' - hence near its apogee and thus farthest from Earth - its ray is deemed in many respects similar to that of a retrograde planet.

This point arises due to the Moon's path around the ecliptic forming an axis of the perigee when the moon's orbit is closest to the earth and the apogee when its orbit is furthest from the earth. It is an empty area, a void created, an empty focus.

Distance from Earth- maximum (apogee) 406,697 km (252,681 miles); minimum (perigee) 356,410 km (221,438 miles).
Age- four billion years ...

It can be seen as the extreme point of any natural cycle whether apogee, aphelion, zenith or nadir.

Perigee: The point nearest the earth on the moon's orbit. This term can be applied to any other body orbiting the earth, such as satellites. It is the opposite of apogee.
