Arabic or Arabian parts or lots, have been used in astrology for centuries although most have now fallen into disuse. The only part commonly calculated today is the Part of Fortune or Fortuna.

Arabian Parts- Developed during the Middle Ages in Arabia, each part derived from three points in a horoscope, indicates a sensitive point that relates the three factors involved. There are hundreds of Arabic Parts.

arc : The curved path of a stellar body and the angular measurement of this path.

The term 'Arabian Parts' is misleading. The medieval Arab astrologers inherited their art from a long-established tradition, which they did much to refine and develop, but did not originate.

Since aspects describe geometries that exist in space, they are also formed among all points in the chart besides the dynamic focus of the planets, i.e., angles, midpoints, house cusps, nodes, Arabian parts, etc.

I do not use these very often but many astrologers do and will always make note of them. Arabian Parts probably fit in here, too because you will probably want to include the Part of Fortune in most if not all of your charts.
