Astrology AspectAspect pattern

ASPECT CONFIGURATIONS It is not uncommon for horoscopes to contain a series of aspects that form one or more configurations. While it is difficult to state exactly what the result of these compound aspects may be, in a general sense we can speculate.

Aspect configuration. Four planets visually forming a square around the chart. It consists of two pairs of planets in Opposition to each other, and in Square aspect (90 degrees) to the other pair of planets.

Aspect Configurations: Patterns of aspected Planets, such as a Stellium, Grand Trine, Grand Cross, T-Square, or Yod. These patterns point to major issues, talents, and challenges within one's nature.

Other Aspect Configurations:
The Grand Trine, The Grand Cross, The T-Square
Advanced Astrology ...

yod An aspect configuration in which two planets in sextile both form a quincunx (inconjunct) with the same third planet; it is given a karmic connotation. Sometimes called the Finger of God. See also Finger of God.

grand cross : An aspect configuration in which four planets, each in a different sign of the same quadruplicity, form mutual squares. Much tension is generated among planets forming this pattern.

With the pure energies of the entire Solar System mapped out before us, the traditional aspect configurations, such as the grand trine, mystic rectangle, and T-square, begin to take on new and awesome -- perhaps luminous -- significance for us.

Kepler realised that many more aspect configurations are possible, but rejected them on aesthetic grounds.
