Average Daily Motion - The average motion of a planet over a 24 hour period. Travelling slower than average is held to be a debility.
Mean/ Average Daily Motion of Planets - The normal rate of travel of a planet through the zodiac.
Mean Time - True Local Time.
Medium Coeli (MC) - Mid-heaven, or meridien. The Southern point of the chart.
The average daily motion of the Moon is 13 degrees and 10 minutes. If the Moon was traveling 13 degrees and 10 minutes or more on the day of birth, the Moon is considered to be a Fast Moon.

Lunar Mansions: From Hindu astrology, a twenty-eight-fold division of a horoscope (twenty-eight mansions or houses) based upon the Moon's average daily motion. Critical degrees are derived from a similar division of the zodiac.
