Biquintile (144°). Classed as a harmonizing influence.
Quintile (72°). A mildly benefic aspect, but ineffectual when directed to malefic.
Semi-Quintile or Decile (36°). Kepler deemed it a good influence, but mild.

The biquintile (abrv. BQt or BQn) is an angle of 144° (a quintile [72°] x 2 = 144°). A separation of 144±2° is considered a biquintile. This is considered similar to a quintile.

Biquintile: an aspect of 144° or 2/5th of the circle (see "quintile").
Biseptile: an aspect of 102.86° or 2/7th of the circle (see "septile").

These, based on complex geometric relations of musical harmonies and disharmonies, initially included quintile, biquintile and sesquiquartile, but later others such as semiquartile, decile, septile, novile and so on, now known as Minor Aspects.

Concerning the three new aspects which he discovered - the quintile (72 degrees), the biquintile (144 degrees) and the sesquiquadrate (135 degrees) - he claims to have detected their effect through years of weather observations.

Plus, the Kepler aspects: quintile and biquintile, septile and biseptile, which Bil Tierney called rare aspects in his best-selling book Perceptions in Astrology which I have translated into French for the Ed. du Rocher, Gnosis collection in 1986.

An aspect proposed by Kepler, consisting of 72 degrees, or one-fifth of the circle. The Biquintile is 144°, or two-fifths of the circle. A Decile is 36°, or half a Quintile. It has not been universally adopted.

A configuration of aspects formed by five points of a horoscope, uniformly connected by five quintiles, and by biquintiles. Figures of this pattern in the natal chart look like a pentagram.

Should you utilize orbs that are too wide you may run into another aspect. For instance the Biquintile of 144 degrees is only 6 degrees distance from an Inconjunct at 150.
