Collection of Light
Where two planets, whether applying, separating or making no aspect to each other, both apply by to a third planet that "collects their light" and thereby establishes a relationship between the two.

Sometimes two planets are close to being in aspect to each other, but they're just a little too far away to be within orb. Ordinarily these planets would not be considered to be aspecting one another.

Collection of Light - When a planet receives aspect from two others which are themselves not in aspect.
This can be likened to an earlier astrological custom of the translation and collection of light where the Moon picks up the energy pattern from the last planet it was in contact with and transfers that pattern of energy to the next planet it aspects.
