The inconjunct or quincunx (the terms are generally used interchangeably) aspect in astrology is formed between planets that are roughly 150 degrees apart.

Conjunctions can have an orb of 10 degrees or more. Their effect is to inseparably combine the energies of the planets involved, each making the other planet more powerful.

Conjunction of the Midheaven to Jupiter emphasizes the nobler facets of human expression as a result of self awareness. The urge to expand is joined with self awareness to provide direction and develop optimism.

Each conjunction reflects the 3 phases of the unfolding of this conjunction before the next quadrature (in 2039, please see my "New Millennium" page). The third and final conjunction occurs on October 24, 1993.

In the conjunction, we sometimes get the best of the planets involved and sometimes their more difficult faces, depending on how we approach them and how they affect the rest of our charts.

Multiple Conjunction: A planetary arrangement in which three or more planets form a series of conjunctions that may extend from one sign into another.

Conjunction Conjunct Conjoin
An aspect between two planets which are found at around the same degree of the same sign (give or take a few degrees; see Orb). Very powerful, merging the creative energies of the planets involved.

1 Conjunct
A conjunction occurs when two planets are in the same part of the zodiac. A conjunction is measured from plus or minus zero degrees, in other words right next to each other.

Inconjunct - Quincunx. An aspect of 150°, creating stress, unhappiness and sorrow. The aspect has a 6th or 8th house effect, depending on whether the swifter planet is applying or separating from the opposition to the slower.

Ingress: This term refers the entry of a planet into a sign. It is commonly used to point out the Sun's yearly ingress into the four cardinals signs separating the seasons.

A conjunction (abrv. Con) is an angle of approximately 0-10°. If one of the bodies is the Sun or Moon, a separation (orb) of approximately 0±10° is considered a conjunction.
