Cosmic Cross. See "T-Square."
Critical Degrees. Any planet or point that is in the 1 or 29 degrees of any sign. Also other critical degrees in cardinal signs are 13 and 26; in fixed signs 9 and 21; and in mutable signs 4 and 17.

Cosmic Cross. Two planets in opposition, each squared by a third planet, resulting in what is termed a T-square or T-cross. A fourth planet, opposing the third and squaring the first two, forms a Grand Cross.

Culminate: a celestial object is said to "culminate" when it crosses the local meridian. It is not at the zenith when it culminates unless that part of the ecliptic also happens to be at the zenith.
