Dissociate Aspect: An aspect within orb but out of sign.

 


Dissociate Aspect
- Where planets are in an aspect but the signs they are placed within are not in the same aspectual relationship.

Dissociate aspect - An aspect within orb but out of sign. Dissociation disperses and thus weakens the strength or focus of an aspect.
Distributor - The planet that is the current bound lord in a circumambulation.

dissociate aspect An aspect within orb but out of sign. For example, a conjunction between a planet in 29° Capricorn and one in 0° Aquarius is within 1° orb but not in the same sign; therefore, it is a dissociate conjunction.

The subjects of orbs and applying, separating, and dissociate aspects are beyond the scope of this article but are very important to understand. Start, however with gaining an understanding of the major aspects.

Out-of-Sign: Also known as a dissociate aspect; addresses the importance of measuring aspects by degree rather than Sign. For example, a conjunction between a planet at 29 degrees Leo and 1 degree Virgo is within a 2 degree orb but not the same Sign.

Parallel. An aspect between two planets or bodies with the same degree of declination, either north or south of the celestial equator.
