Easter. From Eastre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of light or Spring, in whose honor a festival was celebrated, usually in April - since at that time the Spring Equinox occurred in April.

Easter is a wonderful though perhaps mysterious time of the year. The dreariness of winter is clearly behind us and the spring season is in full bloom with all of the accompanying light, warmth, scents and flowers.

The eastern horizon point in a chart. If you are born at sunrise, the Sun would be found around the Ascendant of your natal chart.

The Eastern Hemisphere of the chart (i.e. the Ascendant side) shows the left side and indicates the left hand, arm, leg or whatever.

The eastern horizon at birth becomes the first house cusp. So having the Sun just below the first house cusp (in the first house) corresponds to being born just before sunrise.
