First Quarter Moon

First Quarter Moon
In this phase, the Moon is waxing and square the Sun. This represents the time in the planting cycle when the organism puts out its leaves and branches, a time of great growth.

First Quarter Moon - this Moon helps you reflect and evaluate yourself and your path. If obstacles arise, find a logical solution.

A first quarter Moon is always seen directly overhead immediately after sunset. At the Full Moon the Sun's setting reveals the Moon just rising in the East, hence the Full Moon shines throughout the entire night.

A week after the New Moon, the First quarter Moon looks like a half moon setting in the morning. The halfway point of the cycle is at the Full Moon, when we see the entire Moon’s face as it reflects the maximum light of the Sun back to us.

The 3rd phase is the First Quarter Moon, when the Sun and Moon are 90 degrees apart. The 4th phase is the (waxing) Gibbous Moon phase, a separating angle of 135 degrees, also called sesquiquadrate.
