Fixed Houses - 2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th houses.
Fixed Signs-Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. This Quality represents stubbornness and inflexibility.
The fixed houses, or succedent houses as they are more correctly named are the second, fifth, eighth and eleventh houses.
The Fixed Houses are Second, Fifth, Eighth and Eleventh; if a chart has a number of Planets in these Houses, the chart is weighted toward Fixed energy.
(Example of the symbol is in the 3rd house of our Sample Chart.) Fixed Cross = the cusps of the Fixed Houses—2nd, 5th, 8th, & 11th houses.
Also called the fixed houses, being ruled naturally by the fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. The mode of action associated with these houses reflects fixed qualities of steadiness and reliability.
