Impedited - A planet is impeded in its natural action when afflicted, especially by malefics.

 


Impeded; Impedited.
Said of a Luminary or planet when badly aspected, especially by the malefics. Also said of the Moon when passing to a conjunction, square or opposition to the Sun, Mars, or Saturn.

Impedited Debilitated, hindered, or damaged. A planet is impedited (impeded) in its natural action when afflicted, especially by malefics, or is in a general state of weakness due to position or lack of dignity.

It may also or instead be combust or otherwise impedited. The significator in such a condition is suspect and thought not to be able to deliver.

If the Moon is afflicted or impedited, particularly by combustion, the matter will come to no good because its ability to perform is overcome by the Sun’s power.

If the Significator be in his exaltation, and no ways impedited, but Angular; it presents a person of haughty condition arrogant, affirming more unto him then his due; for it's observed, ...
