Ingress Signs: The equinoctial (Aries and Libra) and solsticial signs (Cancer and Capricorn), the cardinal signs that coincide with the beginning of the seasons each year.
Infortunes - Uranus, Saturn and Mars. Mercury and Neptune when afflicted.
Ingress - Entry of a planet into a sign. Usually the Sun's ingress into the four cardinal signs.

Ingress. Said of the entry of any orbital body into a Sign, or a quadrant. The Sun makes an ingress into the Cardinal Signs at the equinoxes and solstices.

Malefic: The infortunes, Mars and Saturn, and by some modern authorities, Uranus and Neptune, whether afflicted or otherwise. Mercury unfavorably aspected is deemed a malefic with respect to money, law and marriage.
Aries: here Venus is besieged by the two infortunes, and it represents in questions, a Man going out of Gods blessing into the warm Sun; I mean is Venus be a Significatrix that time in time in the figure.
