Intercepted signs: Intercepted signs are more common in charts where the birthplace is found in more extreme north and south latitudes versus latitudes found near the equator. .

Intercepted signs: signs which can crop up in a chart which do not cross any house cusp, always in pairs, opposite one another; more common in temperate and polar latitudes, or when one of the solsticial signs is rising.

Intercepted signs always happen in pairs. Opposite houses always form an axis, as do opposite signs. So when a sign is intercepted, its opposite sign is also intercepted in the opposite house.

Due to this fact occasionally an entire Sign may be contained within two House Cusps, no cusp falling in it. These are called Intercepted Signs and have an important bearing in the affair of the House they are intercepted in.

Those houses contain what are called intercepted signs, meaning, as you described, that an entire sign is completely contained within one house.

Some modern authors have suggested that planets in intercepted signs are weakened or in some way confined but this view does not appear to be supported in traditional texts where they are sometimes used as secondary significators upon the affairs of ...

As with the Koch system, it is open to having intercepted signs. Intercepted signs are those that do not form any house cusp but are sandwiched between two others within a house.

A house system devised by 17th century mathematician and astrologer Placidus de Tito, and based on a time-division method for the time it takes the Ascendant to become the Midheaven. Like Koch houses, Placidus can have intercepted signs.

In this case, the signs either directly before or directly after the intercepted signs will rule two houses each. Such interceptions are common and have no particular bearing on relationships.
