Education, sources of income/profession: Normally only a very few percentage of Krittika females are highly educated. She earns by working in the paddy field, agriculture field, fisheries and other small-scale industries.

KRITTIKA
The 3rd asterism (foster-mother of Kartikeya) (q.v.), extends from 26' 40' to 40' 00' of the zodiac. Its first quarter lies in Aries, while the latter three-quarters fall in Taurus.

In Jyotish, they are seen as the lunar asterism Krittika. In mythology, the Pleiades, seven daughters of Atlas, were half-sisters to the Hyades, another cluster of seven stars in the head of Taurus.

Traditionally in both the Indian and Arabic systems the first Mansion was Al Thurayya (the 'Many Little Ones'; Indian, Krittika, the 'General of the Celestial Armies'; Greek, the Pleiades) located in the shoulder of the constellation of Taurus.

Krittika, Uttara and Uttarashada are ruled by Sun.
Rohini, Hasta and Sravana are ruled by Moon
Mrigasira, Chitta and dhanista are ruled by Mars
Aridra, Svati and Satbhishak are ruled by Rahu ...
