Parallel and Contraparallel
Traditional astrology asks us to look at the declinations of two bodies, and when they are within one degree of distance to consider them parallel.
Parallel: the aspect between two planets that are the same angular distance north or south of the celestial equator ( the Earth's equator projected onto the celestial sphere) and are on the same side of it; orb 1°.

Parallel An aspect in declination where two planets are in the same degree (with an orb of 1 degree), both North or both South of the celestial equator. Read by most astrologers as similar to a conjunction.

Parallel and Contraparallel
Not really aspects (angles) but relationships to the equator, north or south, that is, declination. Parallel is when the planets are within one degree of orb in declination.
