Pars Fortunae - The Part of Fortune, one of the most important of the Arabic Parts. The point lies the same distance in longitude from the ascendant as the Moon lies from the Sun.

Partile. An exact aspect (q.v.).
The Moon unafflicted, or the ruler of the Ist or the IInd or the Moon in conjunction or good aspect of the Pars Fortunae.

The Part of Fortune (or Pars Fortunae) is the only one of these in common usage today and it is commonly interpreted as an indicator of well-being and success.
