Pars Fortuna
One of many derived points used in Arabic astrology (called Arabic Parts), which are calculated using the positions of certain planets and points (e.g., angles).
Part Of The Building or House: Said of the 7 or 10 pin when it remains solidly standing after an apparently perfect hit. Used in a phrase such as, That pin must be part of the building.

The Part of Fortune (from the Latin Pars Fortuna) is the only Arabian astrology part still commonly used in modern astrology. It indicates an area of life that is a fortunate one for the native.
Part of Fortune: A calculated point in space said to indicate, by House placement, where a person's talents lie.
Planet: See The Planets.
Planet Positions: The Sign and House position of a Planet within an astrological chart.
Part of Fortune: A mathematically calculated point and not an actual heavenly body. It is found by adding the longitude of the Moon to the longitude of the Ascendant and then subtracting the longitude of the Sun.
Part of Fortune:
A point in the horoscope which opposes or favors the financial fortunes according to the aspects it receives from the planets. The philosophy and the method of calculating it are given on page 60 etc.

Partile. An aspect that is almost exact or perfect, usually within one or three degrees of perfect. Some astrologers say this term only applies when the aspect is exact and is also "in parallel." ...
Part of Fortune The Arabian Part most commonly used by western astrologers. Calculated by subtracting the Sun's position from the sum of the Ascendant's and Moon's positions, the degree occupied by the Part of Fortune symbolizes good fortune.

Some astrologers put the Part of Fortune in their charts.
Part of Fortune is in Taurus in the 7th sextile ruler of Part of Fortune, Venus. Venus is exalted but combust. Sun in Aquarius, in detriment, squares the Part of Fortune.
Part of honestly presenting the total person is the language one uses. Although using phrases like "I believe," "I think," "perhaps," "maybe," etc.
Part of their tradition refers to "aka bodies", which bear a distinct relationship to the concept of living fields.
