Placidian double-cusps and multi-cusps

1766-1828. John Worsdale. Wrote about the Placidian method of directing.
1770. The last academic course in astrology ended at the University of Salamanca.
XI. 1800 - 1900 ...
The Placidian cusps are in almost universal use at the present time. Maurice Wemyss takes exception to the Placidus cusps on the grounds that the Ascendant is located according to one system and the intermediate cusps by another.
