The Placidus House system is one of the most complex. It was developed in the 17th Century by an Italian monk.
Placidus House SystemCommonly used system of house division, popularised by Italian Benedictine monk Placido de Titus (1603-1668). A time-delineated system based on division by planetary hours, there is evidence that Ptolemy used it.
