Planetary Orb. See "Orb."
Planetary Phenomenon. Anything which is perceived or observed in the way of a celestial event, such as an ingress, an eclipse, etc.

Planetary orbs gave way to simpler-to-calculate aspectual orbs around the middle of the 1900s, after the discovery of Pluto.

Eccentric planetary orbits: the orbits of Mercury & and Pluto, which are elliptical and inclined to the ecliptic - while all other planets orbit on roughly circular, regular ecliptic orbits.

Planetary orbits were demonstrated by Kepler to be ellipses, rather than circles as had previously been believed. ElongationDistance of a planet, measured in degrees, from the Sun.

This was reinforced even further when Kepler figured out that planetary orbits are ellipses as opposed to circles.

This allows them to "look down" at the "typical" plane of planetary orbits within the solar system and therefore reflect the idea of "adjusted" thinking and perspective.

It dealt with the nodes of all planetary orbits to each other, just as we have been concerned with the nodes of the planetary orbits to the eclipic -- Earth's orbit.

Also included are an animated orrery showing the planetary orbits and several text screens giving accurate solar, lunar and planetary positions, ...

Kepler, Johannes: One of the founders of modern astronomy who discovered the three basic laws of planetary motion, among them that planetary orbits are elliptical.

the modern astronomers to discover that no mere change in atmospheric temperature accompanying the conjunctions of planets affects human destinies, but a far more important and occult power, the magnetic sympathy between the various planetary orbs.

Originally postulated to account for perturbations in planetary orbits, this planet is no longer supposed to exist by science, although some astrologers claim it as a sort of spiritual entity having power in a horoscope.

Variations will result in consequience of: (a) eccentricities and obliquities of planetary orbits; (b) the distorting effect, in a geocentric frame of reference, of the Earth's motion and position; ...

Only major aspects (conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition) will perform the task, although background information might be obtained sometimes through the minor aspects. Although I should point out that you cannot apply the planetary orbs ...

As Earth turns and moves through space, Mercury is also turning and moving in an orbit around the Sun. Planetary orbits are not perfect circles so speeds vary dependent upon the distance to the Sun.

His emphasis on the importance of knowledge concerning the motions of the planetary orbs, of correct place-time identification of the event for which a Figure is to be cast, and of the then concurrent configurations, ...
