Sesquiquadrate - An aspect of 135 degrees of arc, the combination of a square and a semi-square. The sesquiquadrate is usually interpreted as providing an influence of irritation or agitation on the planets involved.

Sesquiquadrate: An arc of 135 degrees, a "square-and-a-half." A minor aspect indicating tension and challenge.

Sesqui-quintile. A planetary aspect in which two planets or bodies are 108 degrees apart.
Sesqui-square. A planetary aspect between two planets or bodies that are 135 degrees apart.

Sesquiquadrate: This aspect is formed by the addition of the square and the semi-square.
Quincunx: Otherwise known as Inconjunct.

SQUARE - A Quadrate aspect, or Quadranglar, or Tetragonall, is the distance of two Points, or two Planets by a fourth part of the Circle, for four times ninety do contain three hundred and sixty degrees.

A sesqui-quadrate is measured from plus or minus one hundred and thirty five degrees. The semi-square and sesqui-quadrate represent one eighth and five eighths of a circle respectively. Two eights is a quarter or square. Four eights is an opposition.

These aspects are the conjunction (0deg), Semi-square (45deg), Square (90deg), Sesquiquadrate (135deg), and the Opposition (180deg).

It consists of two planets in square aspect (90 degrees) and both in an octile or sesqui-quadrate aspect (135 degrees) to a third planet. The energy of this aspect pattern is a little like a T-square, since it has stressful, dynamic energy.

THE ASPECTS
***Basic types of aspects***
Hard or difficult aspects - Semi-square, Square, Sesquiquadrate, and Opposition. These are the aspects that help us recognize the ingredients in our personality that need changing.

There aren't many people who are not getting it in one form or another, because it doesn't just involve planets in the mutable signs. It is also hitting things by semi-square and sesquiquadrate. That pulls in all the cardinal signs as well.

The less important aspects: the sextile, sesquiquadrate, and inconjunct, are allowed 2 degrees of orb or an aspect isn't noted.
