Quindecile: A minor easy aspect, the fifteenth harmonic, 24°.
Semi-Decile: The twentieth harmonic, 18°; interpreted as a weak minor easy aspect. Also called a vigintile.
Vigintile: Alternate term for semi-decile. See semi-decile.

 


Quindecile - A minor easy aspect, the fifteenth harmonic, 24°.
Quintessence - Fifth alchemical principle. The underlying spiritual basis underpinning the four elements, corresponding to the idea of the Ether, or space-time continuum.

Quindecile. A planetary aspect in which two planets or bodies are 24 degrees apart.
Quintile. A planetary aspect in which two planets or bodies are 72 degrees apart.

The quindecile or johndro is an angle of 165°. Is supposed to be associated with an unrelenting head-strong determination.

He introduced several minor aspects including the bi-quintile (144°), tredecile (108°), quintile (fifth harmonic, 72°), decile or semi-quintile (36°), quindecile (24°), and the semidecile or vigintile (18°).

It pretty much ignores the 1/3 (trine) and 1/6 (sextile) aspects, which are considered quite important by most other astrologers. Noel Tyl has made quite a study of an aspect he calls the quindecile (165°), which he says indicates obsessions.
