A Grand Quintile is a rare occurrence. In October 2004 there are two - one on Oct 1 and the second on Oct 28.
Quintiles are measured from plus or minus seventy-two degrees. Bi- quintiles are measured from plus or minus one hundred and forty four degrees which is one or two fifths of a circle.

Astrolog uses 14 different house systems, can calculate 18 different aspects such as trines, squares, semisquares, and rarer ones such as biquintiles, quatronoviles, and sesquiquadrates.
QUINTILES are fifth harmonic aspects and their influences are Fifth Ray;
SEXTILES are sixth harmonic aspects and their influences are Sixth Ray;
SEPTILES are seventh harmonic aspects and their influences are Seventh Ray.
Pass over the other aspects given (such as quintiles and parallels). Many of the lunar aspects can also be passed over, because they pass so quickly, but conjunctions and oppositions by Moon to the planets are well worth watching.
If the two boundary planets are separated by less than 110° and lack this boundary trine, however, the individual lacks some of those natural resources. In that case you need to look to the quintiles (72° aspect, see glossary) in the chart for ...
