Regiomontanus. The celestial circle is trisected, instead of the prime vertical, and great circles extend from north and south points of the horizon to the points of trisection.

Regiomontanus system - Method of house division, evolved by the 15th century astrologer Johannes Muller, who used the pseudonym Regiomontanus. This system produces accurate results in polar regions.

Regiomontanus Houses. An old house system based on the earth's movement around the sun, as measured by the equator and the horizon. Named for Regiomontanus, the 15th century astronomer Johannes Muller.

The celestial equator is divided into twelve, and these divisions are projected on to the ecliptic along great circles that take in the north and south points on the horizon.

Regiomontanus - This system was more widely used in the old texts of astrology, but has for the most part fallen into disuse in recent years. It is based on the earth's movement around the sun, measured by the equator and the horizon.

REGIOMONTANUS' SYSTEM
Regiomontanus (Johann Muller) was a 15th-century German mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer. He died under mysterious circumstances.

A term applied by Regiomontanus to his method of locating the cusps of the intermediate Houses - those which lie between the angular Houses of a Figure - by dividing the Ecliptic by the Equator instead of the semi-arc.

Regiomontanus House System A system employing equal division of the equator, named after the 15th century mathematician Johan Muller of Konigsberg, (also known as Regiomontanus), who popularised its use through printed tables.

House (System): any of over 9 different systems of dividing the ecliptic into 12 interpretive sections, or houses, named after the monks and others who developed them, namely Placidus, Koch, Ptolemy, Porphyry, Campanus, Regiomontanus, Alcabitius, ...

Using traditional methods and the Regiomontanus house system used by Lilly, the chart has 11 Cancer 42 rising. With natal Uranus conjoining the horary Ascendant, this is a significant chart and certainly relates to your career in astrology.

Thus we have a slew of house “systems,' mostly named for the proponent of the system (Placidus, Koch, Regiomontanus, Campus, Morinus, Porphyry) and some named for their properties (Equal, Meridian, Topocentric).

Walter Koch and based on dividing the quarters of the chart formed by the Ascendant and Midheaven axes into three equal time segments rather than three equal spatial segments as in the Regiomontanus system.

Consequently there is quite a long list of differing house systems (Placidus, Regiomontanus, Equal, Vehlow, etc.). Most of these differ only in the method of calculation used to divide the quadrants.
