Sidereal Astrology: An astrological system based upon the constellations, not the tropical zodiac.

Sidereal Astrology-Astrology associated with the observable, zodiacal constellations using the Cardinal angles of North, South, East and West only (no house system).

Sidereal Time. The axial rotation of the earth measured by a stellar fiducial, usually a fixed star.

What is Sidereal Astrology?
Sidereal comes from sidus, the Latin word for star. That's meaningful, because sidereal astrology is a system that sets the ecliptic by the position of the fixed stars, rather than the Vernal Equinox.

Sidereal astrology uses the actual constellation in which the sun is located at the moment of birth as its basis; tropical astrology uses a 30-degree sector of the zodiac as its basis.

Sidereal astrology. Its zodiacal signs are fixed stellar constellations. It establishes relationships between our solar system, the fixed stars and the galaxy.

Western sidereal astrology and Indian astrology use signs which more or less coincide with the stellar constellations of the same name, although this involves adjustments to allow for the precession of the equinoxes.

The type of astrology that uses the actual position of the planets in relation to the stars is called "Sidereal astrology".

It's similar to the debate that exists in sidereal astrology regarding where one constellation ends and the next one begins. Do we take it to be the midpoint between their closest stars?

The Planets and stars- Sidereal astrology deal with the individual with the eternal. So I feel that the sidereal Zodiac shows this connection and the tropical zodiac can indicate how this personality is externalised. Hence the connection.
