Signs of long ascension

Signs of Long Ascension - in the northern hemisphere, these summer and autumn signs include Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius.

Signs of long ascension are: Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius.
Signs of short ascension are: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus and Gemini.

The Signs of Long Ascension
are those which, due to the obliquity of the Ecliptic, require more than two hours to rise over the Eastern horizon. The
Signs of Short Ascension
are those which rise in Less than two hours.

Ascension: (short and long.) Signs of long ascension take more time to rise than signs of short ascension. Depending on the obliquity of the ecliptic, some zodiac signs rise over the horizon more rapidly than other signs.

Signs of long ascension require more time to rise than signs of short ascension. In the northern hemisphere, the signs of long ascension are Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius.

In the northern middle latitudes, the signs Cancer to Sagittarius are referred to as signs of Long Ascension and the signs Capricorn to Gemini are called those of Short Ascension. In the southern middle latitudes it is the opposite.
