Stationary Direct - A planet stationary at the position of returning to Direct Motion through the zodiac. This is considered to be among the most powerful positions for planetary influence, especially in Jyotish, or Indian (Vedic) astrology.
Stationary Direct This is when Venus finishes the retrograde phase and turns to resume forward (direct) motion.
Mars is stationary direct in the first degree of Leo now after months of retro delvings into things long left undone, so prepare to power forward in your daily responsibilities and working life over coming weeks.
Stationary A planet is stationary direct at the end of it's retrograde period. When a planet turns stationary it is time carry forward. You're on the go and your direction is up. You can recover the ground upon which you recently backtracked.
Transiting Saturn turning stationary direct has already done its clarifying of issues beginning in mid-February, 2004. Right now there's a lot of pressure on some people; loads that they may feel are just impossible to continue to carry.
Generally, it is of a more positive note to have Mars turn stationary direct on a planet than stationary retrograde. If other aspects are good at the same time, however, this may indicate new opportunities relating to the planet in aspect.
For example, if the stationary direct position was 26".391, then I recorded the time duration in which the body was within 26".401 (+0".01), 26".491 (+0".10), and 27".391 (+1".00), of the stationary position. The results are given in Table 3.
