Succeedent house - Houses 2, 5, 8, and 11. They follow, or succeed, the angular houses.
Success Linkage - One of 10 linkages that are either Golden Linkages or Silver Linkages.
The succeedent houses are so named because the planets within them succeed by the diurnal movement of the heavens to the cardinal position. These planets experience a position of mediocre strength.
The Fixed signs and succeedent houses reflect the beliefs one holds about the self's worth/extension issues. The consolidation of the resources of the self towards dissemination (Mutable always follows fixed).
The houses are categorized into 3 groups: Angular, Succeedent, and Cadent. The Angular houses are at the angles; the Succeedent houses follow them.
