Vedanta - Esoteric and deeper teachings of the Vedas as propounded in the Upanishads and such other systems of thought.
Unlike Vedanta, the main stream of current Indian philosophy, both of these philosophical systems maintain that the material world has a real existence, composed of the interaction of the three gunas, or modes of material existence.
The classical terms for wisdom - the Mahayana Buddhist term prajna, the Indian Vedanta term gnana, and the Greek Christian term gnosis, could all be said to mean "knowing-by-being-one-with.

Robert continues the teacher-student tradition, giving classes four times a week throughout the tri-state area. His other interest of more than twenty years is Vedanta which he studied under the Indian monk, Dayananda Saraswati.
He traveled to Nepal and Tibet, where studied Buddhism and Vedanta and assisted with Kathmandu's growing orphan population. He also held audiences the Dali Lama's consul in Nepal on the state of affairs and the fate of Tibet.
This same mantric knowledge gives rise to different sciences (vidyas) according to the angle of vision with which we approach it. Ayurveda, Vedic Astrology, Yoga, and Vedanta all arise from it and represent different ways of looking through it.
Ancient Vedic seers through their divine knowledge revealed various remedial measures to propitiate the cosmic forces/planetary cabinet for the benefit of humanity; the primary being Tantra, Vedanta, Gem Therapy and Ayurveda.
