Alshain

Astronomy AlrishaAlsuhail

ALSHAIN (Beta Aquilae). Altair, Tarazed, and Alshain make the prominent trio of stars in Aquila (the Eagle) that together seem like a bird, even an airplane, flying across the sky. They also reminded the Arabs of a scale beam, or balance.

Alshain
58.68, 281.14
Alshain is a fair-sized planet with enough natural resources to support a BattleMech factory and various lesser industries. Beyond that, the world is not large enough to support anything larger than light industry.

Alshain B is a red M3 dwarf. This star appears to be of 12th magnitude. From the spectral type, the star would have 40% of the diameter of the sun and an effective temperature of 3100 K. The dwarf would have about 1.

Beta Aquilae or Alshain is a real star system (spectral classes G8 IV and M3) and the second brightest star located in the constellation Aquila (the first brightest is Altair).

ALTAIR (Alpha Aql)
ALSHAIN (Beta Aql)
TARAZED (Gamma Aql)
Deneb el Okab (Epsilon Aql)
Deneb el Okab (Zeta Aql)
Altair, along with Deneb and Vega form the well-known Summer Triangle.

*β Aql (Alshain): its spectral type is G8 IV and it shines with an apparent brightness of 3.71m. Like Altair, it too is a multiple star system with three components.
*γ Aql (Tarazed): spectral type K3 II; 2.72m ...

The brightest stars: Altair, Alshain, Tarazed.
Altair is the 11th brightest star in the sky. It has a very rapid rotation, completing one turn every 6.5 hours.
Tarazed is a giant star located near the Great Rift of the summer-time Milky Way.
